Atlas Trolling

You would think that the maps to the north and south of the current one (green) are connected to it. Definitely looks that way, right? Wrong! There is a long line connecting those 2 maps, and it passes right through the current map without actually connecting to it. And there is no connection between the two regions (left half of the screen including the green map, and the right half of the screen).

This is trolling. This is annoying. This happens way too often.

I'd prefer they just strip out the pathing altogether and just do everything based on vision range. Start with some visibility. Complete a map? Vision range extends around that map. Complete a tower? Vision range extends dramatically (and that one unique tablet that would become obsolete can cause a bigger increase).

The pathing nonsense is never going to feel good. It makes the cost of moving around far too high for "exploration", which they supposedly want us to do.

Wow. I didn't realize I had a problem with node pathing until I read this.

Simplifies the code and makes exploring more natural.

Excellent suggestion.
