Dear GGG Team

Hello there. I am a long-time player of Path of Exile, having been with the game since the launch of the Chinese server—specifically, the Season 4 of Path of Exile 1. As we look ahead to Path of Exile 2, I would like to share a small suggestion of mine. I understand this may just be a casual input and might not be adopted, but I still want to put it forward.
The current issue I’ve noticed revolves around Divine Orbs in Path of Exile 2. Right now, Divine Orbs only have sources of production, but far too few consumption channels. This will cause their in-game value to drop at a very fast pace, which in turn shortens the lifespan of each season significantly. We truly need more ways to consume Divine Orbs, especially in the gear crafting system.
In many previous seasons, we’ve seen "Omens" (or similar crafting previews/effects) that are priced at a certain number of Divine Orbs. However, these interactions do not actually consume Divine Orbs from the game’s economy—they only transfer the orbs between players. So here’s my thought: Why not rework these Omens to require direct consumption of Divine Orbs for purchase? It could work similarly to the Crafting Bench in Path of Exile 1—we could have a dedicated crafting bench where activating specific Omen effects costs a set number of Divine Orbs.
This adjustment would achieve two key goals: First, it would create a steady consumption stream for Divine Orbs, preventing their value from plummeting too quickly. Second, it would preserve the existing gear crafting system—crafting a piece of equipment would still cost roughly the same amount of Divine Orbs as before, but now those orbs would be removed from circulation rather than just changing hands.
I sincerely hope GGG will consider this suggestion.
Best regards,
A Long-Time Path of Exile Player
