Honest Feedback of S3 after 5 Campaign Runs

Good day,

First Off thank you GGG for all the hard work you put in for this season, you really elevated it from the disappointment that was S2. I am going to keep things Point form to make it easier to read and digest. I have played 5 toons to the Mid to high level 80s. Amazon, Tactician, Lich, Warbringer, Deadeye.

Campaign

-Felt good, however I firmly believe that the Campaign Maps should be always the same layout. This would speed up alternate characters, and make the whole re-running campaign take a little less time: example: Temple of Filth has some weird layouts.

-Matlan waterways- just get rid of deadzones. There are several misdirections you can go that lead to dead ends, just make it linear and remove them.

-Act 1- Grelwood. Change quest to just let us go to Grim Tangle from the tree rather than return to town and back. A little more time saved

-Act 4- Felt very good, love the layout, and one you have done it, u can speed through it. The difficulty was just right, the art and landscape was great.

-Alternate Characters- Should have all side quests Auto Completed after the campaign has been completed once. Maybe a 5%Xp buff until level 60. They should start their run with all passive points and spirit unlocked. The price you pay for that, is having to wait for those gems to drop? or awarded automatically as well. This would speed up the re-run of the campaign.

-I felt the drops were enough for the campaign, and that enough currency was dropping to be able to adjust my own gear as needed.

-The only ISSUE i see, is locking the Merchant Tab/Trade System in Act 4.... You can still use regular trading in Act 1, but the new Premium system cant be used until Act 4? This needs adjustment. I saw plenty of people in Chat confused on why they Paid money for a tab locked behind an Act. The disclaimer on the tabs saying Locked until Act 4 would have been appropriate I think....

Mechanics

-Sprinting- sprinting is great, a real time saver, HOWEVER, I think there should be a damage buffer-unmodifiable, rather than just be a hit to knock you down.

-Respeccing- Make this a % of total gold. maybe 0.5% of total gold. at 1million gold its 5000 per point, but at 100k gold its only 500. Because it is a percentage, you can NEVER NOT respec. This would allow players to experiment freely, and if mistakes are made, they arnt crippling. It is still a gold sink, but protects those who mess up. Borderlands 4 does this and its a nice solution to respeccing.

-Opacity Slider- please for the love of all things good have an opacity slider. Some effects are just to hard to see anything, especially with your performance issues on console.

-Increase Gem Stash Tab space to 1000+, maybe just add a 0 to 5k. No one will use it all, but at least you dont need to buy a 2nd tab, that just scummy if you expect us to.

-Crafting feels way better this season. The fact you can actually deterministically craft something alot more effectively, is great and signs things are going in the right direction.

Classes

- Tactician- You really need to change Cannons Ready. MOST of the Node is great. The Totems attacking ONLY when you do, is beyond stupid. This mechanic is so clunky, awkward and just poorly done. At the moment, It is a terrible node, especially when you look at its counterpart in Warbringer. They get Spirits AND an extra Totem. This node on Tactician is so bad that even the great aura node after it, isnt worth getting this one for. At the moment it just feels, if you want totems, play Warbringer instead, totems also break armor on hit with Warbringer.

-Amazon feels really good, I think it is in a great place
-Deadeye is Deadeye- Enough said, you have eyes and can see
-Lich/Witch- Levelling feels nice. Essence Drain and Contagion felt good levelling. Minions felt good too. Worried you will nerf and keep specters just being useless and taking up Gem Space.


Mapping

-Get rid of Chilled Ground. This is just terrible!!! At least Temporal Chains you can semi avoid if you see it, Chilled Ground is near impossible in Some maps. Honestly removing all Ground would prob be an idea as well, at least on console, Ignited Ground effects some performance as its always on the screen and active. Biggest thing, Chilled Ground is just Unfun. Plain and Simple

-WTF are Abyss' spawning in Boss Rooms. Did a map, Sealed Vault, and there was an Abyss in the double Blood Priest Boss Room. tried picking them off, but 1 was hiding in the floor. It died and 3 rares popped up during boss fight, killing me and wasting my map...... Why??

-Ritual needs to be looked at for indoor maps. Too many times, like the Sealed Vault etc, where the Altar is in 1 room, and the rest is spread out over several rooms, or most isnt accessible. You get like 200 tribute because there are no mobs around it... For indoor, Almost should have the Ritual Area size doubled.... Not sure what the fix is here, but should be looked at.

-Ritual Bloodwaves have a habit of stunlocking and pushing you all the way across the area. I have stun threshold but they still seem to be able to carry and push you around....

-Clear up Vision of Paradise Precursor Tablet description. I see this several times a day in Chat. Make t something like "Places a buff on maps in range, and when the map is completed, this buff consumes the Irradiated modifier to let you re-run map with current extra content" maybe a tooltip saying it HAS to have irradiated on it to be consumed to get the 2nd rerun.



Well I think that is it for this run or notes, I am sure I will add more at a later date. Overall Things are great. I wanted this more as constructive feedback. If I am not complaining about it, its decent. LOL. Thank you again for everything you are doing to improve the game. Look forward to Druid ;)
