Play co-op (PS5 & PC)

Hello, we're a group of four with two PCs and one PS5 (shared).
We tried to play together, but we received a message saying that too many actions were recorded when we tried to join a public group.

Can you give me some feedback if anyone has already successfully played crossplay in co-op in our setup?

i do cross play with xbox players so not sure how differnt it could be, but the only time ive seen that message is when myPC/game lags for a bit and i try to push a bunch of buttons really fast :ie spamming the search button on the trade menu. maybe have the PC player inv every one and the PS players join one at a time?
