Prevent Recovery by 50%
I can understand how this keeps players on their toes but 50% is too much. 25%-30% would feel a lot better gameplay-wise.
with all the hard hitting attacks and monster swarm-tactics in-game right now, this leaves characters too close to death to be enjoyable in any way for most the endgame. The only time this gets mitigated enough to not be a bother is to have sheet ton of ES or life leech + HP regen + gaining life on kill. Again, melee is mostly bad UX until good gear can be had. This means most players will never ever feel good playing the endgame since they'll never get good enough gear to mitigate being at low life in encounters that have this mechanic in play. interesting thing to bring up honestly - especially when the below are the only real options to play/generate currency/complete builds:
1. go slow or get mob swarmed 2. go fast and off-screen clear 3. play 1 of 2 builds that have sustain based on those ES leech gloves honestly, not bothered by prevent recovery, didn't even notice it when you're forced into 1 of 3 playstyles b/c "engaging combat" can only be you engage and mobs die. there's no combat in this game if everyone is being honest here :/ |
