This is my feedback for 0.3 playing as a Tactician (Mortar-grenades), lvl 91 SSF, not following any build.
Positive - Act 4 + Interlude - Abyss - Sprinting: Great implementation, I really needed something to move around the map while backtracking. - Crafting: Finally I could craft something useful in SSF, feels good. - Splinters for pinnacle bosses: Very good addition, less farming and finally I can engage with higher difficulties in SSF. Negative - Performance: Playing on a PS5, FPS drops horribly especially during Abyss and when the ground is ignited. - Visual Clarity: Too much is going on, playing grenades feels awful. Hard to see ground effects or even boss attacks - Difficulty: The difficulty felt off in this playthrough, campaign bosses melted too easily. Act 1-3 is playing now like the old Act 1-3 Cruel where the player power was clearly over tuned. Unfortunately Act 4 is not any better. I basically didn't engage with any boss, they where just dying too fast. It could be just a balance issue with the Mercenary but the feeling is that it has been tuned down too much the difficulty. Missing the perfect feeling of the campaign I had in 0.1 and 0.2. - Meaningful Combat: Where is it? The game is unfortunately leaning toward POE1 combat. - Citadels: 0 Citadels found in 0.3!!! yes, I am following one direction. I didn't have any trouble in 0.1,0.2. This randomness have to go. - New Deadly Boss Map: Cool idea but bad implementation. Not clear what to do and often bugged. Less randomness is needed. - Simulacrum: Just completely rework or remove it from the game. It does not have any place in poe2 in this current version. QoL/Bugs - After resurrecting I want to have loaded the same ammunition (crossbow) I had prior dying. This often is not the case and it is annoying. - Rituals not appearing in maps overrun by Abyss - While desecrating an Item I should be able to know which are the possible Amanamu, Kurgal and Ulaman mods. At the moment you have to use an external website. - Controller, while navigating the stash/inventory and I have an item selected I want to be able to move directly to the first available slot next to an occupied slot.
