replaying the campaign on 2nd char is not fun

There is way too much talking to npcs and backtracking in the acts.
I notice the annoyance of getting lost in layouts looking for the objective a lot more on 2nd char, felt like im wasting time.

I would like an option to disable all NPC dialogue. Only quest rewards light up.

The core issue for me is, there is nothing in campaign I havent seen before, there is no relevant loot, only XP is interesting. On league start its fine, everyone has no gear so loot is relevant.

I don't mind rerolling in PoE1, chars come online much quicker, lvling gear is way better and you speed through campaign.
In PoE2 a lot of skills feel very clunky early, tried rerolling as crossbow and quit during act 1.

please improve twink leveling experience, maybe fully revealed campaign layouts on 2nd playthrough would help.

For NPCs, it's the same as PoE1. There will be things the NPCs want to say without giving a reward or new quest. You just gotta remember which one you actually need to talk to, and I think that's fine.

For back-tracking, they improved it a lot in 0.3 and I found myself backtracking a very small amount if I was paying attention.

Act 1, I had no problems with. Act 2 is also pretty chill.

Act 3 is still so freaking huge. Usually big open areas with high mob density are good for XP catchup. Every single area in act 3 feels like an xp catch-up area, but with a really annoying layout to exist in (tiny obstacles everywhere that you can't really see unless you stare at map overlay), and mob-types that aren't great to farm (rolling bastards that push you around, crabs that one tap you, monkeys that leap and stun you). You are just slogging through these areas to get past them, and then you get rewarded with more giant areas with similiar problems until the act is over. The soul cores in Jiquani's are an especially terrible mechanic to run even once, on your second character you are so done with it.

Act 4 feels great, apart from the Shark Fin & the Map Pieces. These are both really meh quest rewards for the amount of time you spend on them or with a 4x4 item clogging up your inventory. If you pick up all the map pieces thinking it's what you need to progress (since it seems like the main story), then you will be really annoyed when you get a crappier version of a logbook. If you don't go down the right route in the right order, the fin is stuck in your inventory for the entire act, and then your reward for having 4x4 less inventory that entire time is a skill gem.

The interlude is just whatever, but it is a temporary thing so, whatever I guess.

A really good way to shorten the campaign for people doing it a second time would be to automatically unlock the trial areas and the Well of Souls, as well as reduce the amount of sidequests in other ways like not needing to repeat the spirit sidequests or stat sidequests, having an NPC grant you them at that point or even starting the campaign with the perma bonuses you already got would be very very nice

Why is it way better in PoE 1? I feel after iv run the campaigne in poe 1 or poe 2 my stash is filled with loot that iv saved from lvl 1 to endgame.

In poe 1 we have tabula and here we have the 100 spirit chest as an example beside various uniques in both games we can slap on from lvl 1-10.

If you or someone could expand on it some i would be very happy! Cause i feel both offer us a great start but it might just be my more casual view of the game that i dont see the problem with this.

PoE1 has way better twink uniques that enable setups to go from low level to campaign finish without changing gear while never feeling weak. Seven League Steps for example gives 50% movespeed no level req, they have poet's pen that casts a socketed skill whenever you use any attack. They also have movement skills they can combine with these two things. You can quite literally blink through the entire campaign at Mach speed and obliterate most bosses before they can even land a hit. You would need to switch gear once probably, and it wouldn't even be the weapon.

In PoE2, your only option is to grab 20% movespeed boots and then you're gonna need to progress as normal anyway. Yeah there's early game uniques, but they are no Poet's Pen or Seven League Steps, and you sure as hell can't use a travel skill to go any faster. You will switch gear A LOT in PoE2 if you are doing it optimally, simply because there is no choice that outscales normal weapons. So yeah, poe2 twinking is much slower in terms of movespeed and damage. It is not really even twinking apart from the support gems tbh. The fastest way is you kinda just play the game normally on a strong leaguestart archetype until you reach the level required for your endgame switch.. which is kind of just league-starting again but knowing you have the items already

Ok so currently poe1 offers more power early that synergices very well, then poe 2 and the movement abilitys on top of that. Yeah thats reasonable and cant argue with that, poe1 has more options currently.

I guess i just dont feel it at my casual level of playing :)
