XP loss on death needs to either be nerfed or go
If you cant make a stable game, one that doesnt crash once a map, or lag out every single large pack, remove the awful mechanic.
One of the worst gaming experiences ive ever had. If you fix your servers and the performance, feel free to add it. Every single time i die its directly after a near crash or complete lag out. It is absurd, totally unfair, and has made leveling a complete nightmare. Dernier bump le 16 sept. 2025 à 06:15:34

It's been here for 13 years.
It's not going to vanish. I'm sorry to tell you that and you die because you died not because of a disconnect. Dys an sohm Rohs an kyn Sahl djahs afah Mah morn narr Dernière édition par Coconutdoggy#1805, le 16 sept. 2025 à 02:00:40

" I do understand that its annoying and why it is annoying, but i also think its not that much of an issue. You can mitigate the loss with Omen of amelioration. But yeha its really frustrating to die because of lag and server crashes. I dont really experience that issues. I also dont really care much about level. Once u get to like 94 and 95. More levels dont make much of a difference. |

only time i focus on exp is when i am near around level 90, before or after that threshold, it really don't matter much honestly.

I would be in favor of something similar to the system in Anarchy Online (old MMO). When you die, you lose some EXP, but that lost EXP gets "banked" (IIRC the cap was about a full level worth). After respawning, you would earn EXP at an accelerated rate until that pool was used up, which made it a lot quicker to get back to where you were.

" Or alternatively, from all XP you gain in maps a certain amount (depending on area level and/or map modifiers) is put in a "bank" which can then be used to "pay" for the penalty if you die instead of having it detracted from your XP. That way, dying once in a while doesn't impede your progress... |
