What happens to items when you upgrade to merchant tab?

I asked in chat, someone said they go to a "remove only" tab, but I'm not finding that, and I had a jewel in a Tab I designated for Divine sales. :( I can't find it now after upgrading.

Is it gone? :(

Edit: Also I had a tab full of tablets, logbooks, fragments of various kinds and that is all gone too :(

Edit 2: There is a setting in the tab to "Hide Remove-Only Tabs" uncheck that and you will see the tabs that were converted and can remove the items
