Temporal Chains & Chill Ground is not enough, we need more. Please READ!

I’ve tested around 30 more maps, and on about 20–22 of them I got hit with Temporal Chains or Chilling Ground. And you know what? I still feel like I’m way too fast and not nearly “meaningful” enough in battles.

So here’s what I propose to add to the game:

Any fire damage should also reduce all speed by 20–30%.

Any lightning or chaos damage should cut your cast speed roughly in half.

Bumping into any obstacle on the map, even while walking, should apply a “stumbled” status. That’s –20% movespeed for 3 minutes.

Also, I think it would be a great idea if movespeed and cast speed could go into negative values. Like, instead of killing monsters, we’d be running backwards and creating them.

And I also want to express my frustration. The existence of all these slowing mechanics still doesn’t stretch a single map to at least 30–40 minutes. I can still finish some in just 10–15 minutes — which is way too fast in my opinion. I don’t even have time to personally fight every monster on the map, so I don’t feel like I’ve REALLY completed it. And that’s upsetting.

Thank you GGG for making the game slower and slower! Maybe in the next league you’ll take one of my suggestions!

There's actually a good idea for beyond monsters in the sarcasm here. Rather than the little orbs it would be fun if they constantly spawned around the player.

Beyond was scary for some of my builds in early poe 1. I don't even notice em in poe 2. Worse in abyss league.
get reduced potency of slows on your gear/jewels/tree, it makes a huge difference. I have 50% reduced potency and I dont even notice the slows
that's just cause of your sick build. I'm just starting to dip my toes in tier 3 maps, and I still die as soon as I start to think I can just press forward because a few white mobs got deleted super quick.

I try to source my own gear as much as possible, I really don't understand how people find the stuff I buy off of them on the market, I NEVER find any single piece of equipment with two or more resists at higher than 30% in my maps, yet on the market there's so much of it, even three resists at higher than 30% is common.

was on a map last night, everything was going pretty easy, then all of a sudden in a flash, monsters coalesced, and in 0.125 seconds I took like 6 blood projectiles to the face at point blank and instantly died.

At low tier maps it'll be rare. Check the tiers of resist mods on what you buy vs what's dropping for you right now.

Even then, yea I rarely see one drop perfect. It's almost always a dual res with good other stats that I craft.
Wouldn't be so bad if chilled ground didn't cover 80% of the map.
