How to disable elemental storm (stormweaver ascendancy - tempest caller)?

I chose tempest caller point in stromweaver ascendancy becouse i need multiplying Squalls for my build.
I dont need Elemental strom - it cost alot of mana and give me nothing.
How i can disable it?

Maybe there's a support gem you can put to break skill. But yeah, GGG should really make it toggle like other meta gems, stacking sound effects alone were killing me last time on stormweaver.

You can also raise storm's mana cost beyond your max mana pool.
