My warrior conclusions
I'm playing with the warrior this league, and I have to say, he's fine... but... he needs a few minor tweaks.
- For a warrior, he falls too much. A tough guy gets used to fighting... it shouldn't be like this. - The skills he has compared to other characters don't have area of effect. A small shockwave when attacking with a mace strike, for example, would be nice. - Despite having good weathering, armor, and defensive abilities, they lower his health relatively quickly. I understand that for a ranged player, fine, but for a big guy used to face-to-face combat, it shouldn't be like this. A skill that would unnerve monsters when they see you and make them feel the need to attack you, because sometimes it takes you ages to hit a basic hit, due to the distance from the creature. Well, after so much time using Hammer of the Gods, with Mace Strike, I've seen how melee doesn't work, in the end I had to switch to an area build with the warrior.
They should fix that, since what we expect from a warrior is that he hits face to face, like Conan xD., and another thing, fix just a little the mana consumption... it's incredible |

Would agree on some mana tweaks as well as getting some more strike skills.

I did a warrior in 2.0 and my takeaway was for a tank, he just couldnt tank. I had to end up doing a very complicated build that had a very complicated whirlwind setup JUST to make him tank, and if i buggered that up he falls like a house of cards. But he also had bugger all damage.
I do however like the addition of Elemental Damage vs armour added in now. Tried a thorns build, was neat but again, you have to TAKE a hit for it to all trigger but... again not being able to tank hits was problematic. Agree alot of skills are just poor in comparison to other classes, his skills have to much set up off each other (which im all for and would be fine if they actually did solid damage and had speed to them) but many are use-case scenarios which arnt great for mapping endgame or even bossing. |

Basically he doesn't feel like a tank, even playing with thorns, compared to Poe 1, ("don't tell me this isn't Poe 1" I already know) the warrior, who is supposed to be a guy who is used to fighting face to face with anyone, feels weak, and what I already said, the mana cost, and his melee skills, are bad, or not bad if not, slow
