Party does not increase loot value. Sadge
Hey guys. I was shooting some maps to open on parties. And I'm felling I literally having the same amount of lot value as a solo run.
I'm actually getting loss on running maps lol There was me and another 4 guys, and I did not get a single ex. That's how bad it was. And it's very consistent the loss. Does anyone is feeling the same? Is this thing not suppose to multiply loot to balance play reward? Before we could actually see the %amount of extra loot. Now it just shows nothing :( Dernière édition par vittorcsj#7475, le 9 sept. 2025 à 19:02:55 Dernier bump le 21 sept. 2025 à 08:57:09

I saw way better loot in my multiplayer experience. in fact my party and I found 2 divines in campaign and 2 in maps. In solo I haven't seen 1 divine.
I believe the way the party mechanic is supposed to work is that you get much less loot, but the loot is of a higher quality overall and rolls on higher tables. So with 4 other people you should see really high tier/rarity of loot, but much less quantity per person. |

There are certain maps that go for 2div a piece, according to Fubgun. Because "party players" use them. Pretty sure if you are gonna do party play then each person needs to play a specific build just for that party in order to reap the big rewards, though.

I played like 6 maps with 4+ ppl today. Not a single divine. All maps had the same lot as solo.
For example, when I open a research strongbox, dropped like 3 great transmutations, 1 exalt, and 1 augment. And I opened and exalted like 5 of them. And all the loot was for others players. I run solo, I get at least 5 ex from directly drop often. I ran party, If I got 1ex, is a lot. |

Maybe private parties are having better loot, and public bad? Bc I don't even saw the game saying the classic % increased indicator on top of the party group

I play with another person and I get almost no loot where as he gets everything, this happens pretty much all maps. In boss fights he gets literally all items while I get a single rare item. I am also a higher level and do double his dmg. I also have double his rarity at 120.. Is this party loot system just broken or what.

tbh, I would just prefer loot to be individual, and everything you see on your screen it's yours.
Much easier to handle, and no balance needed. And you can still consider rarity of whoever killed what. |

I mean, considering party play in PoE 1 wrecks the economy due to whacky synergies, I think it's good that GGG tacked down loot explosions for groups in PoE 2.
I think this is working as intended, and hope it stays that way. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley |

is better to not even have multiplayer that way then. Imagine the effort to sincronize everything in the codebase just to drop nothing on individual base.
The loot seems to work well if ppl share profit, since it will start drop better currency in rarity tier, but at same total amount in quantity. But this makes totally not worthy to play on pub parties, since the host will almost always have losses on investments. team parties breaks economy bc of this mechanic of everybody seeing all the loot. So you are forced to compensate with amount or bigger overall rarity. And that's really bad for the host, since you still have the same amount of items being dropped, but now you can only actually loot 1/6 or 1/3 of what you seeing on your screen All this is fixed if everybody just starts to see only their own drop, since it removes the need to improve rarity on parties, and leaving only only on gear.
