Disable "Gameplay event voices" doesn't work!

How do I disable these repetitive and extremely annoying voice lines when using skills?

So there’s really no way to disable it? Maybe delete a file or edit an ini file? I don’t want to play without sound at all, but listening to the same repetitive and totally out-of-place lines is just unbearable. :(

Probably mention what class/skill this is happening on and put it in bug reports, I enabled my setting and the only time I get a voice is occasionally on finding an item, killing a rare or map completion. It's a lot better than it previously was for me.

Then again, I am playing a lich with Xbow so maybe there just isn't much of the usual "I PRESSED MY BUTTON AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"
