PLEASE CHANGE THE SOUND EFFECT OF FROZEN MANDIBLES

Frozen Mandibles might be the most popular pet for fast speed, if not yet.

But the skill it casts(has nothing to do with its passive aura) every 3 2seconds, is waaaaay too annoying to keep around. Please change it to something else.

Honestly, just remove the ice explosions completely. They get in the way of seeing real ground effects.

Having the Ant shouldn't mean I don't get to see poison puddles/etc during mapping!

The sound is soooo loud too. Like I literally have to mute when in hideout because of it being so loud when it's by itself.

The ice explosion doesn't even do anything either, it barely even does like 1 damage to enemies, so I'd be fine with removing just the frozen portion and keep everything else.

I'm going to go a bit broader on this (because yes this is annoying).

Instead of changing the specific Spectre/companion, I want some UI changes.

Right now, with the spectre summoned you can see its basic attack and abilities when you open its tab (not all of them granted, but I'm sure GGG would like all of them in there).

What I'm proposing is that in the detailed minion tab, we can disable abilities from there. Just untick them.

This solves several problems beyond the mandible spam of a very loud (both visually and audibly) effect that does basically no damage. It would also let you either disable the ranged or melee attack of some spectres that are obviously great at one thing, but terrible at another. Which then lets you use proper support gems with them.

There's plenty of highly effective ranged spectres right now that are overall terrible because they default to basic melee attacks most of the time.

All of spoken here is so true. Frozen Mandibles are meta now, I guess, but also meta in annoyance. I even bought a resin for it, didnt help.

GGG should put this fella on the payroll. That's such a good idea! Honestly, I'd even be happy with support gems that did something similar. Obviously your way would be the best but I'd take what I can get.

There's so many cool specters out there that just get hamstrung by wonky AI. I'd love to diversify my roster a bit more but the total lack of control gatekeeps you from most specters.

I use a weapon swap that turns them off for situations where I don't need them, like in the hideout.
