Desecrated ground affix on Abyssal Rare is broken.
Pretty much the title. I have all my res capped that includes Chaos as well, but whenever there is that one Rare which has the Desecrated ground effect along with teleport mod and throws it's shadows at me constantly and with all the stuff that gone in abyssal rift it's pretty hard to notice since the shadow got mixed with all the other screen clutter and i died within 1 or 2 sec, ES and life also don't seem to matter when this thing is around. Not saying it's not impossible to kill but for a melee class it just a nightmare to deal with at this point.

I'm CI and take significant damage from whatever that dark puddle is on the ground, I'm assuming its either non-element or physical damage since its not Chaos or bleed damage.

" I will make him my own. *edit* Ok he's not very good. Spends most of its time just stabbing with the spears, will use that call lightning thing at range. Didn't notice the tar pit at all. Lightless abomination (the other large one) is significantly better with its mortar aoe attacks that spout fire pillars. Plus it looks way cooler. just impossible... love the game but htis has a been a huuuuge bummer on this patch for melee... when some have temporal bubble or you have temporal chains it is RIP before the map begins... GGG saind they tackled that, but is unmanageable still... I mean, if you wast like one hour taunting it, moving like a spiderman, and being extremely luck you man kill one at a ten...this is like volatile plants x10 for melees lol |

I totally agree, desecrated ground is horrible especially for melee build (I run hollow palm monk). I cannot mitigate the damage, despite capping my Chaos resistance and investing (and anointing) on Life regeneration nodes, because unlike POE1, this desecrate ground (as the explanation said) is not Chaos DoT, but Physical one, to make it worse it DISABLE Life and ES regen, not countering them.
Please GGG reconsider this debuff. Thank you in advance. |
