Desecrated ground

Please atleast remove the Recovery block from it. We melee scrubs can't damage those mobs while tanking with no recovery at all. Also don't suggest to kite them, because there's also these mobs that channel beams and stay still inside the desecrated ground, so there's no way.

just impossible... love the game but htis has a been a huuuuge bummer on this patch for melee... when some have temporal bubble or you have temporal chains it is RIP before the map begins... GGG saind they tackled that, but is unmanageable still... I mean, if you wast like one hour taunting it, moving like a spiderman, and being extremely luck you man kill one at a ten...this is like volatile plants x10 for melees lol
It's still pretty bad. No recovery and a ton of damage is just death for melee, make it a recovery reduction if anything, this is just crazy.

No worries, PoE2 will fix melee...
Have to skip some of the abyss mechanics as melee.
This mod definitely needs to get looked at by GGG.

In a nutshell: Get an abyssal depths, see a rare with shade walker and temp shield, welp guess this depths is over, gets ported to, dies.

at some point its not even anti melee, its anti clearing.
It should either have the Phys Degen (the hardest damage in the game to reduce) OR the Recovery Disability, not both.

It's psychotic design that you normally only see on Uber Sirus.
PoE2 is a great tutorial for PoE1.
This is complete nonsense. Who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to cut life regeneration in this game? Before, if you ran into a mob with a red aura at least it didn’t deal damage and you could regen your energy shield. Now this cursed ground just straight-up kills you. I only play on Hardcore leagues and it drives me mad how clueless your game designers seem to be. Are you even thinking this through? This garbage can roll with teleportation + fast movement mods and then you literally have no chance. It’s either logout or death.

Why stop at nerfing regen? Just add a monster that instantly kills you the moment you step into its area and be done with it. Every league I try to support you guys by buying something in the shop, but what you’re doing feels like trash. Look at the stats — only casters and ranged builds are at the top. Do you seriously not see this? You keep saying all the balance is aimed at SC, but why on earth should I be dying even on SC because of your broken mechanics?

It’s been only two weeks and I already hate this league, and I’m starting to hate GGG as a whole. I’ve played a lot of ARPGs and not a single one has ever taken away life regeneration. It’s absolute madness. Nerf resists if you want, nerf armor if you must — but don’t you dare touch life regen!
agreed. my build soley relies on life regen and i nearly insta die as a fully invested tank thats maxed
