Desecrate Focus with Omen doesn't work

I tried to use Preserved Rib + Omen of the liege to a regular focus item, and It doesn't work: Omen is incompitable with this Descrating item. As my understand there's nothing wrong, I assumed this is a bug.

Sorry, but I just tried to use it when desecrating a rare Topaz ring with Gnawed Collarbone, and it still said that the omen is incompatible. Are rings not jewelry?

i think it's because the special mods are ilvl 65+ and gnawed is only up to ilvl 64

I see the post it works only on weapons/jewerly, but please - include it in the description, this confusing...

same problem, i see so many ppl selling focus with +2 minions, how they doing it? its saying its amanamu mod, so im trying to use omen for make amanamu and desecration but it wont let me to do it...what the problem? how it work?

why? it doesnt say so on the omens and armor also has lich specific modifiers

It should really say this on the omen, because it's very confusing
