Sprint

Who was the genius who though putting the sprint on the same button as dodge?
This thing has killed me more times than hedgehogs. Please do a separate button or at least allow us to disable this.

How are you going to use it with shift, though? You need WASD keys AND a sprint key pressed at the same time. With space you can use your thumb for it without sacrificing any of the movement keys. But with shift you gotta remove your pinky from 'A' to press shift, which means you won't be sprinting anywhere left.

Most other games you're talking about allows you to "steer" with the mouse, while pushing 'W' to move forward and ignoring strafe keys while sprinting. But here in PoE it's different.

When I'm moving with WASD my pinky is on Shift key anyways.

Ok, this is funny. I was living without a ring finger on my left hand for so long, that I kinda forgot that most people have it. But yeah, you are right. Shift would be a better way for most. But for me it's not even an option. So I'm pretty happy with the way sprint currently works.

I suspect the reason why they did it like this is that consoles are running out of buttons.

A keybind on PC's would be good.

I'm 100% sure they will change this. They need to give us the option to bind it where ever we like.

100% got me killed more times than not just trying to dodge and instead getting knocked down cause it registered as sprinting..... Bright idea having dodge and sprint on the same button..... Someone needs a gold star on their forehead....
