Interlude The Khari Crossing - Torbik event stuck? [update: Work around found]

Edit: It appears dying/respawning at checkpoint probably fixes this issue, since after I died to an abyss and returned, Torbik was able to roll open his shop immediately upon me returning.


I encountered Torbik's event, where he is seemingly trapped with a bunch of monsters around him. Upon defeating them, Torbik keeps repeating he needs my help, but there is seemingly no way to help him?

I have looked around the area and I see nothing to interact with. I have cleared all monsters in the wide surrounding area around him and also nothing happens.


Maybe I am missing something? But I think maybe the trigger for the event is broken.

As mentioned in my edit, the problem was solved upon me dying and returning to the event again, where then Torbik could open the caravan.

I am not sure if simply using the esc -> respawn at checkpoint will fix it or if it entirely needs to reload like a death.

I can confirm respawn at checkpoint worked for me

Dying/respawning at checkpoint worked for me as well thank you <3 Dont know what happens if you are in hardcore mode tho. Maybe restart the instance all together might help too
