PoE2 3rd Edict Video Views
If you look at the 3rd edict content reveal video, 500k players looked at it. That's likely the core players from the early release day 1 where the game was logging 500k players (it was 4k players left, last I looked).
Here's my feedback. 1. It appears GGG was unable to grow the player base, or even the potential player base. 2. Those 500k players are core players (Who else is checking the beta vids for a failed early access release?) 3. If you look at other videos where people talk about the 3rd edict video, it doesn't look like much of that core 500k base is coming back. Solutions: 1. Yes, it's GGG's game. We do however play it. Maybe, just maybe... Listen to your fan base instead of trying to take what your fan base says and mesh it into what you were going to do anyways to make your dream fly. Head's up, your dreams not really flying. I'm close to $1000 in on this game and will be playing 0.3, but none of my friends are returning. Not even 1. Dernier bump le 23 août 2025 à 09:51:16

U realize that 500k video views are not compareable to 500k CONCURRENT players, right?
Also the assumption that every PoE player that played at launch would watch a YT video is hilarious... not even to speak of people who watched the live stream and wouldn't watch it again. There's so much wrong here, please just stop :D edit: Damn I got baited, good one! Dernière édition par Sadaukar#2191, le 23 août 2025 à 07:52:36

Meanwhile in reality: You're playing a game where if you just look at whose on steam, it ain't looking good for GGG. Feel free to play number games, theories, etc. Facts are, 500k'ish at beginning, 500k'ish watching that vid.
You don't have to deny reality because you have a ton of banner logo's from your purchases next to your name on here. I'm a massive fan of this game and company and am not attacking them. Like I said, I'm playing 0.3. Wake up fellow player. You can be a fan and still retain your mind. |

" What a doomer lol. If you try to copy paste the number from PoE2 release to a youtube video and try to present it as some form of statistical representation of anything I feel sorry for you since you clearly don't understand how statistics works in any way. There's so many metrics you're not even considering your point of view is just laughable honestly. But hey, just don't play the game if you don't like it. From what I see they are listening to their playerbase :) |

according to you it was 500k at launch and now its still 500k, that means they retained 100% of their core playerbase, amazing job!

most of those 500k views are poe1 players hoping the game will be fun this time around
