Blood mage ascendacy passive reworks are really questionable
So why open sores: "The Between the Cracks Notable Passive Skill has been renamed to Sanguine Tides, and no longer provides Critical Hits ignore Monster Armour. Instead, it now provides Gain 1 Life Flask Charge per 4% Life spent, and 50% less Life Recovery from Flasks.
This part is sound really good like needed buff. It also now has when your Life Flask reaches full Charges, 40% of its Charges are consumed, and Gain 1% of Damage as Physical Damage for 3 seconds per Charge consumed this way. But this IS HORRIBLE, "consumes freaking 40%" of your flask for miserable 1% phys damge per 1 charge?! Like i have to constanly keep eyes on my flask, because empty flask is basically saying: lol you cant do anything and will just die, shore this insentivises reckless game play But it will be really confusing and frustraiting at times, because your flask suddenly looses half of its contents for miserable damage boost for wrong damage type, stress for nothing (you can say that first part can work in to second, But you didnt played chaos blood mage, i think there is near 0 players that play this exact combo, and ggg says they wanna buff builds that are not being used much huh) Its shoundt be just phys damage, make it in to 1% overall damage Like removing flask charge is a horrible decision, make so you get just 1% overall damage each time you reach full flask,no charge removal needed since if you aint gonna use it you are wasting enemy health that can be in your flask, so you wil do that 40% removal by yourself anyway, that way you not punishing player, But rewarding for playing aggresivelly Also That passive was useless before, (unless you play by the book kek) , because you can break armor easilly with bone storm and not many bosses has that much armor,and Also that chaos and dot ignores armor, so you decided that this passive belongs to the phys damage for some reason. Instead, it now grants Enemies affected by your Curses have at least 15% of Life Reserved" No just no revert it back. change it back. CURSES COST WAY TO Much ON HEALTH FRONT AND TOO SLOW TO CAST, JUST STOP, like we are talking about life and death difference, infinite curses make more sence on class that literally has to risk its life for higher damage output (no not really lol, its just misery) and you swap such need passive to freaking easy mode lich with health immortality, and infinite es stacking and possible health stacking, you took only thing that lift burden of casting 2 curses and be in half health zone aka possible oneshot zone. this change kinda makes me not wanna play anymore i was kinda on edge to comeback or not, But if this comes throught il just leave, like such staple notable ascendacy node that makes blood mage exciting, and you just make it Reserved health of enemies, just a thing that passivelly does its thing that you wont notice at all and CANT EVEN SCALE IT OR DO SOMETHING WITH IT, when you could stack curses and do much more damage then this 15% reserve . i dont know how high you can get it with mods but a normal life flask has 75 charges, you can probably get it upwards of 100 charges so thats 40% damage as extra phys, sounds pretty strong to me.

I feel like vit siphon solves these issues. or since it gains Phys dmg, you can get life leech on gloves with this and ignore life flasks all together.
that said, I think there is 2 supports that give lightning(Ambrosia) and bleed dmg(concoct), having only 1 class get sanguine tides is limiting. can't say much on curses, I always use blasphemy and never got it. I play maces on blood mage though so we may just be playing it differently. I am mixed on the overflow only being 1.5 instead of 2, but we'll see how it goes. |

" It's a single notable and not the whole ascendancy, also ascendancies are quite limited to which build they are most beneficial. It's called Blood Mage so don't expect to use it as a bow user effectively either. |
