POE2 FLAME WALL ADDED DAMAGE BUG(MISSING TAGS)
The Flame Wall skill provides added Projectile damage, but its damage tags only include "Projectile" and "Fire." This renders the skill ineffective for spell-based characters, as it lacks the critical "Spell" tag. Since spell-focused characters primarily scale through "Spell" modifiers, Flame Wall becomes practically useless for such builds. Given that Flame Wall is inherently a spell, its added damage should carry the "Spell" tag. This inconsistency may indicate a bug.

Are you saying that fire damage added to spells by Flame Wall isn't affected by spell modifiers?
For example, Frostbolt (lvl 1) passed through Flame Wall (lvl 10) would deal: – by default ~10 cold and ~15 fire damage – with 100% increased spell damage ~20 cold and ~15 fire damage – with 100% increased spell and projectile damage ~30 cold and ~30 fire damage Did I get you right? If yes, how did you find this out (actual tests)? |

Flame wall is not dealing that damage, the projectile is. It's spell damage if the projectile deals spell damage. Added Damage is not separate from the hit that it's added to, it can't have separate scaling.
