[Crash] Access Violation in nvwgf2umx.dll (PoE 2 + RTX 5090, DX12)

Hello,

I'm experiencing consistent crashes in PoE 2 during zone loading and occasionally during combat. I'm playing a Lich + Minions build, which generates a high volume of visual and entity effects. The game crashes to desktop without any error message.

System specs:

GPU: RTX 5090 (tested drivers: 552.22, 546.33, 555.99)

CPU: Intel i9-14900K

RAM: 64 GB DDR5

SSD: Samsung 980 Pro NVMe

OS: Windows 11 Pro 26100

Game version: Steam, DX12

What I've tried:

Switching between DX12 and DX11

Disabling HAGS and NVIDIA Reflex

Clearing shader cache and production_Config.ini

Reinstalling the game on another SSD

Capping FPS, disabling post-processing and all advanced graphics settings

Running MemTest (RAM stable), monitoring temps and system behavior

Capturing crash dumps via Windows Error Reporting, analyzing via WinDbg

Crash dump analysis (PathOfExile.exe.11464.dmp):

EXCEPTION_CODE: 0xc0000005 (Access Violation)
PROCESS_NAME: PathOfExile_x64.exe
FAULTING_MODULE: nvwgf2umx.dll!SetDependencyInfo+0x45e450
Nearly all threads at the time of crash were executing inside nvwgf2umx.dll, indicating a GPU driver fault while handling shader dependencies or rendering queues. The dump also includes activity from nvcuda64.dll and fmod.

Comparison:
On my secondary system (GTX 1660 Ti Max-Q, i5-12300F, 16 GB RAM), the game runs completely stable in the same zones and scenarios.

Conclusion:
This appears to be a DX12 rendering issue related to high-end GPUs (RTX 5090 in particular).
Please escalate this to the engine or rendering team. I can provide:

Full crash dump (11 GB, .dmp)

DxDiag.txt

WinDbg analysis output

If needed, I can upload the .dmp to file.io or MEGA and send the link.

Thank you for your time and for the continued development of PoE 2.
