Requesting More Caster Rings in Patch 0.3.0

For Content Patch 0.3.0, I urge GGG to consider adding more common caster rings as the current options are very limited with only the Pearl Ring with cast speed. I think low-level caster rings with a modest damage increase for specific elements or a lower value ring for all elements for hybrid builds could be interesting.

Diamond Ring
Colorless, Common
Level: 4
Modifier: 1-3% Increased Elemental Damage

Garnet Ring
Red, Common
Level: 8
Modifier: 3-5% Increased Fire Damage

Aquamarine Ring
Blue, Common
Level: 12
Modifier: 3-5% Increased Cold Damage

Citrine Ring
Yellow, Common
Level: 16
Modifier: 3-5% Increased Lightning Damage

Iolite Ring
Purple, Common
Level: 20
Modifier: 3-5% Increased Chaos Damagee

They will probably add Synth bases which will cover these. That amount of increase is also a bit conservative. Something like 15-20% is pretty reasonable.

Not terribly hyped for exactly this idea because it's just % damage increases nothing big. Stuff like + to charges and % attributes are much more hype additions

As the rings are low-level, need to keep the damage increase fairly modest.

I agree that there should be more caster based rings, as well as caster based modifiers in general.
However, damage type increase is better than its penetration as a generally useful bonus. If you are playing a dedicated element build with exposure and according curse you quickly get to a state where penetration does not give you anything (enemy resistances are reduced to negative levels already), while damage increase would still be useful. There should also be a ring for elemental damage increase for hybrid builds, if needed for balance - with slightly lower values than dedicated element ones.

Agreed, damage type increase is better than its penetration and updated. I also added low-level diamond ring for hybrid builds.
