Sorceress+Controller is Unplayable

Mentioned before cold snap+controller just does whatever it wants.
Doesnt target frozen enemies according to targeting mode, character keeps casting and sometimes it does explode enemies, most of the times does not.

Doesnt work on frost bolt either, sometimes it does explode the bolt but most of the times does not.

Ice Nova once lands on target (astral projection) other casts are on character's feet.

Since i'm new to the class i'm probably doing something wrong or playing this class with controller need some attention from the devs.
Any help/tips is really appreciated.

TLDR: dealing with aoes on controller is just bad, better not to play sorc.
