Bolting Quarterstaff use?

Just got a Bolting Quarterstaff with 300+ lightning damage. Does anyone ever use this, esp for those who do pure lightning build? Or it's still better off with a high flat damage Phys Quarterstaff instead?

And if no one's using Bolting Qstaff then, is there any potential point for it (maybe on future, possible implementation)?

I made a flicker strike build that works better with bolting staff over a physical one (flicker has no phys dmg -> ele dmg conversion). It's def a more niche base type but it's got its uses.

Being so niche is great. For both 0.1 and 0.2 my weapon only cost me 1ex to buy.
