Bug Report: Deleted Items

Was working on adding gems into The Coming Calamity chest piece and joined a map, then had the chest piece vanish from my inventory. I am unsure how it happened as I didn't interact with a shopkeeper to accidentally sell it. Guidance would be appreciated if anyone else had this issue
