Finished early access, is it PoE2 or any ARPGs?

Well here is the summary:
130 hours of game time. Level 90:
- 1 citadel
- 2 div
- Playing LS build on Invoker, capped my equipment where any upgrade is a 100 div cost per item or just .0001% chance of crafting/looting.

Endless mapping but better off trading Breachstone with Chaos orbs to trade the breach rings -> rinse and repeat.

Got exactly the same feeling in D4 where you are capped in equipment and can't do much more than searching for edge incremental upgrades at huge cost in time.

The game progression is quite broken, a fresh character is having a super hard time with bosses completely broken.
Then the alternative is to go for OP builds, you never comeback from that.
Then you select the class that best feed that OP build if you failed at selecting the correct one in the first place.

This decision will make the game either super hard (#soullike era) or completely trivial.

The servers are completely broken and the game is technically unstable. You can go through a super breeze during the acts but getting DC and rolledback on endgame.

The endgame map is taking way too much time to load, being procedural does not mean you have to load all assets from scratch...Once a chunk is generated it will not change...

Maybe it's just the Early Access and with better league release pace, you don't have time to experience that kind of issue.
Or, maybe, it is just modern ARPG that are inherently flawed in their design.
However, it is a bit of a miss to not take the opportunity of PoE2 to propose something a bit different than the endless loop of -> farming equipment to kill higher difficulty until you acheived the highest difficulty and there is nothing else to do than farming alternate currencies to be able to do the content...

Voilà, I'll be there in August to see what's new but at core PoE2 seems to be just another generic ARPG.

The trade option/balancing is what makes this feel less fair than dark souls for me. Sure in dark souls the gear is also locked behind rng but getting an endgame weapon for example is much more doable. Some of the best weapons can be found early and stay with you till endgame. Also because most bosses are so telegraphed and have easy to read attack pattern I can progress even with subpar gear. Gl doing that in poe. Getting gear checked in poe happens in every single map. Game knowledge matters less than good gear.
That is a pretty good summery.
The game really does alternate between super hard and trivial depending on meta build or not.
That and the fact that you have to farm endlessly to get currencies to do other content.

Farming maps to collect splinters and stones to go do bosses and then get nothing more if not less than just from doing the maps from where you got the currencies. This is quite boring.

I mean the only incentive to go in Xesht realm is to farm breach ring to sell them so you can get enough div for your tiny upgrade, which is useless btw.

There is quite nothing in return for doing the other pinnacle bosses. The endgame is more a trade game than an arpg and the worst is you dont even need those.

You can get decent gear on an OP build and clear T15 in no time.
It’s even better to buy the stones for the realmgate than farming them and killing T5 pinnacles is just a bit of self imposed challenge rather than real rewarded achievement.

Ya summed up very niceley agreed, My big point is THE GAME DESIGN CONTRADICTS THE GAMEPLAY WEAPON AND BUILD STYLES, Lets design gameplay and fighting to be slower and more tedious/thought provoking, can't just face tank, YET ALL THE ITEMS SKILL GEMS AND BUILDS / WHOLE END GAME DESIGN, FAVORS DOING THINGS AS FAST AS POSSIBLE...Fast clearing insta killing bosses, doing any boss on T2+ is just not possible with a "conventional" average build, it requires a glass cannon build, but this directly goes against the design of this game. I got to the point where every piece of content I did just left me frustrated and wondering WHY DID I SPEND ALL OF THAT TIME, FOR A REWARD THAT IS NOT EQUAL TO THE EFFORT PUT IN... THE TIME AND DEDICATION THIS GAME TAKES, DOES NOT PAY OFF WELL WITH RESULTS
