poe2 Infernalist Demon Form. The effects of unique helmets don’t work

If you stay in demon form while in town, then after leaving town, various effects from helmets and other items don’t work on the character. Even "Bringer of Flame" doesn't work. You have to exit demon form and re-enter it for the effects to start working again.
