can you at least crash the client WITHOUT resetting the progress?
at least we can pick it up where it crashed, but the instance is gone, every picked item is gone, exp is gone, and the map marked attempted losing all the juice.
it's so annoying and discouraging to play my favorite build shattering palm. more mob groups are suppose to be get me excited not scared that it may crash. fix it NOW. or you gonna lose another loyal player. And committing players like me, once gone and commit to something else, we NEVER come back. Dernier bump le 30 juin 2025 à 07:22:04

If the CLIENT crashes then you can just reconnect.
You will reappear exactly where you was (inside the map or whatever). If the SERVER crashes then it's gone though, naturally. |

No
because it is a crash, game has no time to save your state. it is not a pause. |

" Have you heard about exception handling? Not only this is possible, but every arpg game should aim to minimize player losses from unexpected session termination for any reason. If GGG prefers to let players suffer for half a year while they try to fix ddos protection, something is very bad with their backend design. |

At least losing passages and maps in the atlas is not cool. After losing 2 citadels in the atlas with tables for multiple playthroughs, I don't want to play anymore. The progress on the map itself is fine, but why can't I save my character's state before starting the map? The server-side logic is very weak. The developers don't listen to the players. As a programmer myself, I understand what can be easily fixed and what can't. The current bugs are just childish. And ggg's silence is just terrible. It feels like the staff consists of no more than 10-15 people. And even then, they are weak specialists. The technical support just brushes off messages, without feedback, without explanations, without apologizing to the players for the company's mistakes. And there are many of them. The only ones whose work is visible are the designers and artists.
