ABOUT SSF Problem And Essences Problem!!!
Thank you, GGG, for bringing us such an amazing game. I really love Path of Exile, but as an SSF player with nearly 500 hours, I find it very difficult to craft my gear because Omens are too hard to obtain. In SSF, we have to farm dozens of Waystones just to get one high-tier Omen.
As for currency, sometimes I end up with a lot of Divine Orbs but very few Chaos Orbs. I hope GGG can provide more benefits for SSF players—for example, allowing currency conversion, like exchanging 1 Divine Orb for 50 Chaos Orbs. Regarding Omens, I just wish the drop rate for SSF players could be improved so we can craft our gear more easily. Then there’s the issue with Essences. Previously, most players used them to craft rings, but after the update, breach Boss no longer drop normal rings, so the usefulness of Essences has dropped significantly (except for the new ones). I think it would be great if we could use Essences repeatedly until we get the desired modifiers, just like in PoE 1. As for Great Essences, I haven’t thought of a perfect solution yet—maybe adding a currency that can turn rare gear back into magic gear? That would be a fantastic change. Most importantly, I hope GGG can give SSF players more benefits, and I also wish Path of Exile continued success! Dernier bump le 26 juin 2025 à 02:52:30

what do you use the chaos orbs for?

"Crafting gear—did you really plan to farm a perfect gear directly? That could take thousands of hours to pull off! |

" you need lucky or thousand of hour, until it the end of league, you still not get perfect item minimum 300 chaos per item if lucky omen of whittling more important, minimum 100 per item if lucky orb of anulment is alternative for omen of whittling if this 3 can make it drop common, the ssf more fun |

lil tip for ssf- don't aim to get any gear (not even speaking of perfect anything), rather adapt to your drops. either with respec or reroll. This what makes ssf much more fun, at least to me.

" This is kind of the biggest change-up to ssf from poe1 to poe2 for me - gear crafting in ssf, and a build you have success with within it is a lot more RNG dependent. Poe1 has many more determinative crafting techniques as well as affix supplementation with the crafting bench - eg. if you get a mace with a high IPD and IAS roll, you can craft on flat phys for it to be "good enough" until you get lucky and/or you spend the eons it takes to farm a suitable amount of crafting materials to craft a real mace. In Poe2, if you drop that same mace missing flat phys, you need to exalt gamble. Didn't hit? You don't have a "good enough" mace anymore, you have vendor trash - unless you want to gamble with chaos orbs, which are better suited for use on lucky fractures. This means that the amount of gear you craft or have that would be considered "good enough" is RNG dependent. Consequently, this will also apply to the builds you choose to play. The flipside is if you do drop that GG mace, wand, or whatever - the "impact" of that luck has a greater weight when you make a build that utilizes it. I personally still prefer access to "good enough" and I can't imagine a crafting bench wouldn't also be added to Poe2 in the future. However, in the meantime, I think we just have to get used to blowing on the dice and praying before we roll. Dernière édition par karsey#2995, le 25 juin 2025 à 13:15:44

"Thats ture, but everyone wants the best gear, right? |

" i think you might be playing SSF for the wrong reason if you want the best gear |

yes good enough is fine. You can get through most content with good enough. Sure you wont be posting videos of you blasting a boss in 2 seconds with good enough (probably) but you're here for the content right? what's the fun of skipping the content?
brb lemme blast a boss in 2 secs so i can get back to whining on the forums about the lack of content Dernière édition par Cult_of_Resine#3258, le 26 juin 2025 à 02:19:02
