[Xbox One Series X] Can't see player names in town

I made my name so that other players can laugh in town, but it looks like player names don't show up when pointing your character at them anymore. Characters do highlight with a green border, but no name appears like before. I spent a lot of time looking up how to spell DiGiorno correctly so this has been a disappointing realization. I also have no clue what regretful names other people have chosen, which usually fills me with a sense of satisfaction at the thought of how superior mine usually is.

Is this a bug, or a recent change? If it's a bug, please set it to high priority. Thank you.
