Ritual spawning an inordinate amount of enemies

idk what happened here, but my ritual altars were spawning an insane amount of enemies.. was a slow trickle of monsters for like a whole minute on each altar. Walked away with over 11k favour when I normally sit around 3-4k on a good 4-altar map.
