Greater Rune of Tithing

was looking around a bit and can't seem to find if the Greater Rune of Tithing (Armour: 1 to 100 Lightning Thorns damage) benefits from taking lightning damage on the tree or nodes like "pure power" - (2% increased lightning damage per 10 intelligence)
