Softlocked in Ultimatum Trials

I was trying to get my 4th ascendancy finished and I was doing an Inscribed Ultimatum. I was facing the Chimera boss and I used Thunderous Leap to jump down from the initial platform and beat the boss. However, I did this before seeing the Trialmaster and the time pause effect. The "Trialmaster's Challenge" Quest still is stuck at "Enter the Challenge Area" and I cannot progress past the current Ultimatum Challenge.

Edit: was able to leave after trading and teleporting out of the trial
