Remove XP Loss until the game is stable

Just died to the game freezing and then going through 30 seconds of action in 1 second with an automatic death on a map I had no retries.

Lost XP, lost the omen of whittling i was about to get, and lost the expedition on the map.

It is one thing if I died and it was something I did wrong and learned from it. Right now all I'm learning is to not play this game anymore.

The exp loss is an ulta-outdated mechanic that serves literally zero purpose other than piss off players.
Exp after lvl 90-95~ish is so slow anyway, that it's alone is punishing enough. Ofc we do use them omens. So in reality all the "xp loss" is about taking up some more inventory slots.
It really looks like PoE2 took only bad things from PoE1. Perfect crafting system? ofc no. Dated exp loss? sure gimme two lol
I play hc and would like a few characters back but I know it will never happen lol.

On sofcore league i see absolutely no reason why this can't be a thing. Its sofcore after all so no need to be ultra punishing.

When you give it some more thought you realize how non-sensical exp loss is. It only hurts lvl90+ and is completely overbearing on lvl95+. And since exp needed per level grows exponentially dying like 300 times from lvl80 to lvl95 will put you like 1 level behind but waste dozens of hours of your time. And even without exp loss it takes like 500h+ to get to level 100. I really don't understand the insistense on this archaic game design choice that was a stillbirth from the get go. (And before anyone says "yeah, but Darksouls has it too - yeah, but in Darksouls you can regain it through active gameplay, you are technically able to beat the game without spending a single soul through pure skill, there is no cheap one-shots or off-screen kills)
