The random endlessness of the atlas is discouraging
I feel there is a huge missed opportunity in endgame.
Nobody wants to explore an endlessly expanding but meaningless world. It would be more fun to have a the same fixed world for all players. Keep the terrain constant but randomize the biomes and let players play the same map endlessly if they want. Additionally create chokepoints and unique maps to add flavor to the endgame world.
