Warrior mace - ragequit.
The fact, that every damn skill is a self stun should warranty that I cannot miss.
Why in hell should I have to invest in an accuracy while using maces? Evasion cannot evade slams. Mace skills are slams. Equals I CANT MISS. Monsters having > 1 APS attacks and interrupting every damn skill before. Playing mace warrior feels like something great for a masochist. The attack animation speed should warrant 1-shot of the entire screen. At level 1. God I feel angry, rant over. Mace warrior sucks. Armor too weak. Playing a Smith with dual-wielding 2-hand maces this season I can agree that it is a pain to play this class. There is a node on the skill tree that makes you never miss, of course with the downside of not being able to crit anymore. It's even on a favorable position on the tree. So not too bad to get.
I am more frustrated at the amount of nodes you have to waste to make 2-hand wielding the level 77+ 2-hand maces viable. Without having like 25%+ reduced attribute requirements on the maces or something insane like an Astramentis you can barely make it work - I have + 20-30 strenght on every piece of gear, have the +20% strength ascendency point and had to travel quite a bit on the skill tree to get +7% attributes and -12% attribute requirement - all that for a fraction of the powerlevel other classes get. I personaly think the whole mace mechanics should change. It should be more about having a quick windup attack and a following huge impact attack.

The only way I could feel a "comfortable" gameplay with Mace was playing Fanatic Mace (former Expert Cultist Mace) with Mace Strike as main skill. Even after its AoE "bug fix" (nerf), it felt "ok".
I could deal with Earthquake on endgame if its delay was shorter though. I can't say it went really smooth, but I could used that for levelling (early and mid maps) before getting a nice Fanatic Mace. It was "playable" when you add multiple reduced duration on that (cluster near warrior's start point on skill tree + Fast Forward + Swift Affliction). Other than those, I can stand any other slam skill. They are too slow for endgame content. And boneshatter combo is too annoying. I hope they introduce Swords and Axes soon. Without undesired surprises, I mean... |

Hmm. I won't descredit anyone's play experience, but i will say, for me, its been kinda the opposite. Warrior feels great (after getting past certain thresholds), and all the other classes kinda felt bad. TO me.
For starters, movement speed. Ughh! Omfg, so low. But once i got 25-30%ms boots, movespeed felt 'ok'. As for the skills / speed (windups etc)... i agree with earthquake being not good for much. Takes too long to get to the point. Rolling Slam, though better served with a 2H actually doesnt feel good at all, unless its used with a 1h. Its all about the attack / skill speed. Which brings me to the final point, with alot of stacked attack speed / skill speed, everything just felt so much better. Im currently weilding the hammer of faith with a shield, and a kaoms chest, and things feel pretty damn good. I still havent beaten my atlas, as im slow (like the game), but im just diggin into t-reds now. Anyways, all in all, i don't mind the warrior at all, except for that i feel theres a general lack of build diversity with him, in fact, with all characters really. GGG - Why you no?

" That makes so much more sense too because it mimics real life. Get your posture right and accelerate as fast as possible to transfer as much force as possible. Which is tiring requiring the charater to catch their breath after. Flexing real hard before swinging does nothing to help.
