Normal mode Act 2 Ascend to power quest broken

so idk how i managed it but ive fully broken the quest in act 2 ascend to power. in the current state of the quest i have to go to the caravan and speak to zarka. yet she has no dialogue for me for the quest. ive logged in and out. ive switched regions. ive turned pc on and off. ive left the act and came back. nothing will give her any dialogue for the quest. as of now i cannot get ascendency at all. i tried having a friend party me so i could teleport to the trials. that doesnt work either

i have found a fix for said bug. so what i had on my character was the djinn barya. and it was acting as if that was the correct item to continue the quest. after finding and killing balbala and receiving balbala's barya it fixed and i am now able to continue with the quest. it seems to see any barya as balbalas and says you can continue the quest even if you cant
