Back from Last Epoch S2 and Diablo4 S8 - How is this looking now?

LE has got some great systems but it's a pretty lightweight game and easy AF. D4 is of course, D4, and S8 was not much better than S7. Now that I'm done playing the field, I wanna come home to my main squeeze and roll something new.

How's the last few patches worked out, helped anything? The loot drops feel better? Does more currency drop instead of a bunch of crappy rares? Need to go patch now, but would like to hear views before I head in. Thanks.

Looting feels a little bit more bearable during campaign on SSF mode, but crafting is still slot machine sim straight from one hand bandit room.
