Trade Website Core Issue

The core issue with the trade website is that both the purchaser and seller of an item are required to disrupt their game play in order to complete the transaction. It's 2025, why can't we simply list the item and have the buyer click, buy-it-now like other MMO's have been doing since WoW Vanilla. I just have to shake my head sometimes... It's like dev's want to disrupt players gameplay or throttle China-Farmers in some way to the point it actually makes the whole trade experience a massive time waster. Have to go and physically meet a person? Can you imagine if Amazon ran that model?

It's 2025 guys (devs). Quit ruining a really good game with silly game mechanics designed to deter China-Farmers. Just go after the China-Farmers? It's not like you can't see the sources of all of this, I mean... You have features that even track our steps...

My $0.02 on improving trade. I hope it helps! Love the game overall, but I'm trying to be very real here <3

People have been asking for a trade rework for many leagues. It would solve price manipulations and improve trading by a mile.

At this point it looks like devs like this cancerous system.
The biggest issue for me is I almost never sell items because I'm not logged on all day or night, if anyone wants to buy my items there's small chance we are both logged in at the same time.

Then I get to listen to other players tell me I'm supposed to make my divs in trade and I'm doing it wrong by looking for drops

IMO Trading will never be improved. Trading basically allows you to skip out on all the RNG. If they made it good, more people would use it. Then prices would collapse, the people who like trade wouldn't have any fun, and players would burn thru content. Broken builds would be even more absolute (since everyone can easily get the items for it). A good trade system would exaggerate every negative of the game. At least that's what I believe.

In other words, trade friction is set up to mask core issues with the game that the devs are too stubborn to fix. Sad
