Food & Drink Consumables - Grants Life & Mana

I would like to propose to add food and drink consumable items that replenishes life and mana for your character (disappear from inventory upon use), granting a temporary buff for a duration. The higher tier food and drink items are rarer to find (e.g. Leg of Lamb, Whiskey only found in containers), but also have bonuses to max life for added survivability and bonuses to max mana to increase your mana pool. Don't worry, no farming, cooking and tedious upkeep required. Just buy, click and done.

Food
Right click to eat.
Bonuses: Life Regeneration, Maximum Life
Duration: 15-30 Minutes (varies per item)
Food Items: Bread, Fruit. Cheese, Fish, Roasted Chicken, Leg of Lamb

Drink
Right click to drink.
Bonuses: Mana Regeneration, Maximum Mana
Duration: 15-30 Minutes (varies per item)
Drink Items: Water, Milk, Coffee, Tea, Wine, Whiskey

Food and drink items would be purchased from Food & Drink Vendor NPCs in town, found in containers throughout world or dropped from monsters. Food and drink items adds an extra touch of authenticity to the world. You can indulge in whiskey by the campfire not only to restore your mana, but for more immersive roleplay. Only a dozen different food and drink items is all that is needed for gameplay.

I certainly want a food and drink satchel if something like this were to exist because the amount of items that drop is borderline exhausting.

That's a great idea, satchel could come in various sizes, etc. or just be standard part of inventory...
