First unique mob act 3 cruel dropped blue items with runes IN THEM ?

Hello,

I killed the first unique mob in act3 cruel in Sandswept March

To my very surprise, that mob dropped:
- 1 blue chest armor with 2 greater runes IN it (glacial, body)
- 1 blue helmet with 1 greater rune IN it (resolve)

He also dropped a bunch of blue items with t9 affixes (ring with 140 life, amulet with 140 mana), a belt with t7 affix

Is this normal or a bug ?????

That sounds like it was one of the new Rogue Exiles - they drop quite interesting gear.

Rogue Exiles have special drop rules. Since they are the NPC equivalent of player characters they are equipped with the same types of equipment we are; randomized ofc. Once you kill one, they will drop everything they have on; weapon, armour, rings, amulet, belt. Their equipment can also be socketed with runes, and they can also drop the Unique gear they wear (if they do wear uniques it says so under ther name).

0.2.0f patch added also "Rogue Exiles will always have appropriate Tier Runes socketed into dropped items relative to their item levels."
