trouble reseting ascendency in POE2

I have a lvl 57 witch on standard league, I have run the trials of sekima 3 times now and tried to reset my ascendency every time. I have gone through all the steps of refunding the skills and trying yo interact with the statue, all 3 times the statue couldn't be interacted with I am a blood mage at the moment but am change to a lich. any help would be appreciated.
