Cannot click on map even though connected map is completed

I completed a map, and although there's a dotted line going to a new map, I cannot select it.

Upon re-logging, the dotted line between the "Fortress" and "boss map" to the left disappeared.

Annnnd now the dotted line reappeared but I still can't select the "Boss" map on the left.
