Expedition NPCs missing

Hello.

Recently with a friend we did our first expedition in a map. As a result Dannig appeared in my hideout (as I was hosting the map) next to the recombinator (or whatever it's called).

However after talking with Dannig, his trader NPCs didn't appear for me, but they did for my friend (next to the recombinator).

I don't think I missed anything as there was no quest or such to click on, but somehow I can only see Dannig and not other expedition NPCs in my hideout?

Is there a bug or did I REALLY miss something there?
