Cannot gain life

As stated, my life is stuck at 1. I cannot gain life.

If I fill up at the well in hideout, it immediately goes back to 1. If I use a life flask it just disappears. I do not have Chaos Inoculation. I do not have anything reserving life. I do not have anything degening my life.

To test, I removed all my gear and all skill gems. That did not make any difference.

This started happening when during a map (I don't remember which one or the modifiers). Essentially, I started taking damage from life, but whatever damage to life I took, I could not gain any back.

Basically, the game is unplayable at this point. As I have some Energy Shield, but missing 2k life makes playing unmanageable.

I found the issue:

The Eternal Life Ascendancy point (Your life cannot change while you have energy shield) is bugged. When it is allocated, it does not let you gain any life. So any damage you take is permanent.

When I unallocated the Eternal Life Ascendancy point, I was able to gain life again.

Reallocated Eternal Life and played a map.

At first everything was fine. Took some damage to life but was able to recover life with flask.

However, towards the end of the map, I took damage to life (down to 956). And just like last time, I am unable to gain life again.

Therefore, I would mark this as a confirmed bug.

This is how the skill works. If you have any energy shield you can't gain or lose life.

Your flask will work as long as your energy shield is 0, and will immediately stop once your shield starts recharging.
