ascension not working properly

I skipped the first trials in act 2 of normal mode and did the ascension in act 3 first because i wasn't ready to do the first one when i was there, i didn't even pick up the way point in act 2 until later, i completed normal mode and started act one for the second time in chaos mode before doing ascension in act 3 with a friend, at that point it let me choose my passive tree and take 2 point, then we went to act 2 to do that one and completed it, however it wouldn't give me the other 2 ascension skill points and i couldn't even use the portal back. Can you fix this please and give me my other 2 points.

Update I have now done the first 3 ascensions and still only 2 points, i did notice something new portals to and from the room at the end where you would get the points are not working, cannot use exit portal and if i create my own portal back the caravan it will not let me go back to the end room, it doesn't even have a name where it goes to, and when i do get to the caravan through a portal i have created it then tells me that i have completed the trials and tells me the exit portal is now open even though i have already left the area.
