The process for getting ilvl 82 maps is probably too many hoops to go through

The low chance at corrupting t15 maps into t16 and then relying on corruption/cleanse and then irradiation from a tower is a bit much to rely on to do content that is 'harder' for a given definition of harder as I assume endgame power levels of monsters will change drastically over time.

At the very least t16 maps should start dropping in some form as there isn't anything unique about them, corrupting them for additional mods/modifiers can apply from there.

I absolutely agree. They should have made corruption and cleansed automatically be +1 level but even then it limits the availability.

I would rather see the ability for t16 to drop and corrupted go to T17 so we can use them with irradiated areas. I have done hundreds of maps, I now corrupt all my T15s (I'm 75% through level 95) and I still only see a T16 every 20 or so corrupts. Then I have to save them to find a +1 area which I rarely find either. Someone said it's 1 in 5 maps of a cleansed/corrupted area to have a +1 but I don't find that to be accurate at all.

It's kind of a dumb system as is the rest of the mapping system. They took a good system and made everything about it worse. You can't play the maps you want all the time, you have to juice an area and don't always get it on a map you want to play, you can't get consistent 82 areas and you often have to trash a map you don't want to fight the boss of just to progress. It's just bad right now. There are ways to fix it, but until then we have to play something that feels like torture.
+1 here because we really talking about endgame issues with the atlas...
I had 1 +1 level area map in 2 corruption zones, and when I cleared corruption it changed affixes, so I don't have even this single 82lvl map now -_- Ridiculous

It is just bizarre how many roadblock the Atlas have to run meaningfull content over Lv.90+

Wasting 2 or 3 hours setting up maps to run in 1/2 minutes is baffling, the worst form of game design.

I agree, it’s a bit ridiculous how hard it is to get level 81 let alone 82 maps. Especially in ssf where bases are so important. Really wish that would go back to have all corrupted maps and maybe even all corrupted or cleansed maps +1 level. Right now there isn’t much of a point to search out nexus as +1 corruption and fracturing orbs are so rare. It would really make it so much more exciting to find the nexus areas.

That along with higher waystone and exalted orb drop rates to roll maps would be great. In 0.1 I was swimming in waystones. Right now with how many waystones and exalted orbs drop, it’s hard to roll corrupted maps to try and get tier 16. I’m talking SSF here, in trade it’s easy to just use the currency exchange to get more exalted and Vaal orbs.
